National Museum of Iran to host congress on architecture, urbanism

The 4th Congress on History of Architecture and Urbanism in Iran will be held at the National Museum of Iran in downtown Tehran on January 17-18.

A wide range of cultural and natural elements which are of historical significance and shape cities, towns, and villages will come under spotlight at the gathering, the event’s organizers announced in a press release on Tuesday.

The congress will also touch on other themes such as traditional architecture and urbanism from archeological perspective; water and wastewater backgrounds in domains of urban strategies and agriculture; selects of intangible cultural heritage; and the history of road transport and its developments.
