Manijeh Mir-Emadi the founder of Tavoos departed this world today

The Sky wrecks the ship of Art-masters

Better not to lean on this hanging sea

Sorrowfully, Manijeh Mir-Emadi (Naseri) painter, the founder and editor in chief of the first bilingual art magazine of Iran and Iranian Art Publishing left this world  on the early hours of Saturday 10 June 2017.

Her main concern particularly in the past twenty years was to introduce Iranian Art and Artists to the world and lovingly devoted all she had in this path.

Our heart condolence to all art-lovers in Iran and abroad and her beloved husband Dr. Jamshid Naseri, who like a lion stood up behind her all these years.

Her absence will be a great void for the art of this land.

Her funeral will take place on Monday 12 July 2017 from Pars Hospital to the Artists' piece in Behesht Zahra graveyard.

Her Commemoration ceremony will take place on 14 July 2017 at 14-15.30 in Noor Mosque at Fatemi Square.
Cherishing her memory for ever, may her rest in peace.
